About Pre-Order
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is an order placed for an item that is not yet available.
During a given period, which is indicated on the item page, you can place an order that will be delivered to you later.
The delivery date is also indicated on the item sheet.
Between the end date of pre-orders and the delivery date, approximately 2 months pass. Time to produce your orders!
What are the benefits of a pre-order?
Pre-ordering allows us to launch our production orders to our workshops based on the number of orders we have received.
Indeed, as we know in advance the quantities you have ordered, the distribution by size and the colors, we can produce exactly what you need! With a small surplus for latecomers and to respond to your possible requests for size exchanges.
This pre-order system has the merit of limiting overproduction and overstorage. It's good for us, for you, and for the planet! 100% win win-win ;)
Ultimately, pre-ordering limits our risks, saves energy and allows us to offer you lower prices (around -30%).
Can I combine shipping of multiple items?
You can of course purchase several items at the same time. Your order will then be shipped when it is complete, i.e. when all the items are manufactured and put in stock.
If you want to receive items already in stock as quickly as possible, it is better to place separate orders.
You will then receive your items one after the other, as soon as they are received in stock.
When will I receive my pre-order?
The estimated delivery date of your pre-order is indicated on the item page. This is an approximate but realistic date. This date is agreed in advance with our manufacturers, depending on the supply of materials and production capacities.
We will notify you by email in the event of a delay.
If you feel that the wait has been too long, you will have the option to return your order to us and request a refund.
Do I have to pay immediately when pre-ordering?
Yes, our pre-orders require advance payment.
In the same way as on a classic e-shop, you must complete the purchasing process up to payment and order confirmation.
So, your items are reserved for you. And you have benefited from a reduction of around 20%!
Can I cancel my pre-order?
You can cancel your pre-order at any time during the pre-order period. Simply send us an email at sav@communedeparis.fr indicating your order number.
Your refund will be made within 14 days maximum.
After this period, you will have to wait until you receive the item to return it to us.
Can I change my order after I have pre-ordered it?
Order changes are possible until the end of the pre-order period.
Simply send us an email to sav@communedeparis.fr indicating your order number and your wish to change the color or size.
About payment
What are the payment options available ?
We accept payments by credit card:
Carte Bleue, Visa Card, Mastercard and American Express Card.
We also accept payment by Paypal.
Payments by postal check, bank check, transfer or administrative order are not accepted.
Is the payment secured ?
Yes, payment is 100% secure.
Transactions made on our eshop are secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol which encrypts all information exchanged to process the payment.
This information is not stored on our computer systems.
Are my bank details kept?
No banking information is stored on our site.
Your banking data is directly entered on the secure server of our technical partner. The banking information you provide, encrypted on your own computer, will never circulate in clear text on the Internet.
About deliveries
How do I track my package?
You will receive an email when your order is shipped.
You can track the progress of your package by consulting the MY ORDERS section in your ACCOUNT.
Your package tracking number will be provided there.

I still haven't received my order, is this normal?
The estimated delivery date is indicated on the product sheet. The pre-order system requires you to wait a few weeks for your order to be shipped, the time for production in our Portuguese workshops.
If one week after the delivery date provided you have still not received the shipping confirmation email or received your order, we invite you to contact our after-sales service ( sav@communedeparis.fr ).
Can I come and pick up my order?
Orders placed on our website are shipped from our logistics center.
Unfortunately, you cannot come and collect your order there.
About Returns and Exchanges
How to make a return, an exchange?
You have 15 days after receiving your order to return your purchases to us if they are not suitable.
Send us an email ( sav@communedeparis.fr ) to let us know, specifying your order number and the items you wish to return (and exchange if applicable).
- In case of exchange, we cover all transport costs (return and reshipping).
- In case of simple return (without exchange), we cover the return costs, but the initial shipping costs are not refunded.
In both cases, in order to facilitate returns, we will send you a prepaid return voucher. All you have to do is print it and stick it on the package before shipping.
Please include your invoice with your shipment and specify the reason for your return on plain paper to facilitate the work of our logistics team.

The products must be returned in their original packaging, with any accessories, in perfect condition for resale. They must therefore not have been worn, washed or damaged.
Our team reserves the right not to refund an item if it has suffered any damage.
List of countries from which returns are free:
Metropolitan France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany,
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece,
Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland,
Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, Czech Republic, and Monaco.
From other countries, return is at your expense. You choose the postal service.
For exchanges, however, sending the new part will be at our expense.

Exchange costs are free, but why not simple return costs?
Indeed, we cover all costs in the event of an exchange.
But not for a simple exchange. And this, for two reasons:
- The first is that order preparation and transport costs are a significant burden for our young brand. It is crucial to be able to limit them in order to guarantee good financial health.
Please note, however, that only the return costs remain your responsibility. The costs incurred by shipping your order are reimbursed at the same time as the returned item(s).
- The second is the enormous energy waste and pollution associated with e-commerce shipping traffic.
With return rates of around 30%, the textile sector is a major contributor to this waste.
At Commune de Paris, we do everything we can to facilitate the customer experience by offering quality images, but also a detailed size guide to limit unnecessary journeys as much as possible.
In case of return without exchange, we will send you a prepaid shipping label. Then we will deduct your initial delivery costs from the total amount when you refund us.
Have you received my order return?
You will receive an email as soon as your package has been received.
If you have not received confirmation of receipt within 10 days of your return, we invite you to contact customer service ( sav@communedeparis.fr ) and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
I received an incorrect order or an item is defective, what should I do?
Commune de Paris pays the greatest attention to the quality of its products.
However, if, despite the checks carried out, defects or errors are to be reported, we invite you to send an email to the After-Sales Service ( sav@communedeparis.fr ) to report the problem to us.
Indicate the order number and attach photos if necessary.
A return voucher will be sent to you by email, and all return and reshipping costs will be our responsibility.
In case of return, when will I be refunded?
In the event of a refund request, www.communedeparis.fr will reimburse you within a maximum of 15 days from the date of receipt of the returned package.
The amount refunded will be equal to that of the returned items less the initial delivery costs (in compensation for the prepaid return slip that we sent you to facilitate your return).
